March 22, 2010 - Points standings have been updated. The winners of the $25 AIK gift certificates and 2 runs in the Volta GP electric kart are those who scored the most points in each class in yesterday's event. They are....
GT1: Michael Wu, 44 points (David Nguyen not eligible)
GT2: Eric Jones, 46 points
GT3: Linwood Mishler, 45 points
GT4: Graham Fuller, 47 points
Note: In Heat 26 (Race 1, Group A) there was a timing discrepancy with karts 16, 18 and 19 (1 lap was added to their distance) so the finishing order shown is incorrect. The correct finishing order is based on average lap time and time difference to the winning kart ("Diff"). The order is correct in the Race results posted yesterday (3/21).
Posted some on-board footage which should be available tomorrow.
March 21, 2010 - Tentative results posted: Qualifying and Race Results. Will doublecheck and verify prize winners tomorrow, update points standings etc.
March 18, 2010 - New Qualifying format (PDF) to be used for Event 3 (Sunday 3/21/10).
Classes will be arranged from lightest (GT1) to heaviest (GT4). The order within each Class will be arranged by points in descending order, meaning the points leader in each Class goes first.
Also, race report (PDF) from Event 2 has been posted.
March 14, 2010 - Round 2 of the 2010 Volta GP championship took place yesterday at Allsports. Turnout was even stronger (23 drivers) and the racing was incredibly competitive and clean. Kudos to all the drivers. Files available are below:

December 5, 2009 - Check out the footage and lap times from our latest visit to Allsports. Super close lap times, some identical.
November 21, 2009 - Did some recon at American Indoor Karting with Mike Wu. Brand new track. Some karts were faster than others. Recorded some decent footage, hitting the wall in Race 2 while experimenting with some lines. Lap times here.
November 7, 2009 - Latest MeetUp featured more great racing and really good turn out. The helmet cam angle is a hit. Some helmets aren't very good for mounting with the suction cup so we'll be going with this when possible. See the action here.
October 31, 2009 - Here's what it was like when some MeetUp guys go to Summit Point Kart.
October 17, 2009 - More great racing. We also tried a new camera angle (on helmet). See Race 5 on-board with Alex.
September 26, 2009 - Photos from Clarendon Day have been posted. Ran demonstratons there with the Volta GP electric kart. Also had a Cobra replica, Lotus Elise and an electric trike on display.
September 19, 2009 - Awesome racing! Times and videos have been posted, and our group has a huge share of the fastest times of the day/week/month.
